Lard is used in the dough ovals for their cobblers, apple dumplins, the chickent pot pie and red eye gravy.
Bacon fat is used in the cornbread muffins, cornbread dressing, boiled cabbage, lima beans, cheesy tomato soup, chicken gumbo, and to season green beans.
Ham hocks and ham seasoning is added to the pinto beans and turnip greens.
Sausage is used in their chili and sawmill gravy.
