Passing with Love
written
by Michael Castillo
In
Memory of Sister Sharon Burden who loved Yahweh our Father
There
are words to write on pages and lessons to be learned…
There
is time to rearrange our lives in this world…
There
is meaning in a passing of someone that you love…
Though
it seems they’re here forever, forever’s not enough…
The
impression that they made, while living through your days…
How
they seem so very brave, while living through their pain…
The
wisdom that they gave, is so secure in your mind…
And
the dreams that they made, they need to come alive…
There
are places to be seen, there are places you walk by…
It
reminds you of their dreams, it reminds you of their lives…
You
know it’s ok to cry sometimes, everyone needs someone by their side…
Da…da…da…da…da…da…da….
Their
beauty’s still here in our hearts and minds…
Their
wisdom’s here in what they left behind…
Da…da…da…da…da…d…da…
But
something they’ve done better than ourselves, they’ve placed themselves
behind us on the shelves…
A
gift they’ve left for me and you to have…
Is
a love that makes us stronger, a love that makes us stronger…
Yet we’re sad…
Da…da…da…da…da… (end)
