The Master’s Supper
Open up with a prayer _____________________________
Remind people that this is a solemn occasion, the mood should be one of a quiet spirit, remembering the events of the time when the children of Israel were both fearful and excited. In addition we remember that this event commemorates the pre-sacrifice event of our Savior.
Have the Meal (included with your meal (lamb, soup, salad, etc) you should offer some type of bitter herb (sliced up radishes are the usual choice for many people). Encourage everyone to eat some radishes as it commemorate the bitter herbs that the Israelites ate the night of the Passover.
Say another prayer for the commemoration of the foot washing and emblems____________________________________
Sing a few songs. (These are the songs that we sing but you may replace with your own. The idea is to sing songs that are solemn in nature)

Opening Remarks
*Gen 22:15-18
15
The angel of Yahweh called to Abraham from heaven a second time 16 and said,
"I swear by myself, declares Yahweh, that because you have done this and
have not withheld your son, your only son, 17 I will surely bless you and make
your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the
seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies,
18 and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because
you have obeyed me."
It should humble all of us to know that this very event that we are commemorating today is an event that was established from the beginning of time.
* Gen 1:14-15
14 And Elohim said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark appointed times and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so.
Brethren, Yahweh established this event from the beginning of time because he knew that, like all of the feast days, Passover would point to an event that Yahshua his son would fulfill. This appointed time is so important that it will again be fulfilled in the Kingdom.
15 And he said to them, "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. 16 For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of Elohim."
Now having read that, it is important for us to familiarize ourselves with the Passover of the Old Testament so as we can better understand the significance of the one which we will be commemorating today. As we read, you will be able to identify all of the things that make Yahshua our New Testament Memorial. The resemblance between what happened to the sacrificial Lamb and what happened to the Messiah is truly divinical in nature.
12:1 Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt, 2 "This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of your year. 3 Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb for his family, one for each household. 4 If any household is too small for a whole lamb, they must share one with their nearest neighbor, having taken into account the number of people there are. You are to determine the amount of lamb needed in accordance with what each person will eat. 5 The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, and you may take them from the sheep or the goats. 6 Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the people of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight. 7 Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs. 8 That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast. 9 Do not eat the meat raw or cooked in water, but roast it over the fire--head, legs and inner parts.
10 Do not leave any of it till morning; if some is left till morning, you must burn it. 11 This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is Yahweh's Passover. 12 "On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn--both men and animals--and I will bring judgment on all the Elohims of Egypt. I am Yahweh. 13 The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt. 14 "This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to Yahweh--a lasting ordinance.
21 Then Moses summoned all the elders of Israel and said to them, "Go at once and select the animals for your families and slaughter the Passover lamb. 22 Take a bunch of hyssop, dip it into the blood in the basin and put some of the blood on the top and on both sides of the doorframe. Not one of you shall go out the door of his house until morning. 23 When Yahweh goes through the land to strike down the Egyptians, he will see the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe and will pass over that doorway, and he will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses and strike you down. 24 "Obey these instructions as a lasting ordinance for you and your descendants.
25 When you enter the land that Yahweh will give you as he promised, observe this ceremony. 26 And when your children ask you, 'What does this ceremony mean to you?' 27 then tell them, 'It is the Passover sacrifice to Yahweh, who passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt and spared our homes when he struck down the Egyptians.'" Then the people bowed down and worshiped. 28 The Israelites did just what Yahweh commanded Moses and Aaron. 29 At midnight Yahweh struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the prisoner, who was in the dungeon, and the firstborn of all the livestock as well. 30 Pharaoh and all his officials and all the Egyptians got up during the night, and there was loud wailing in Egypt, for there was not a house without someone dead.
43 Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron, "These are the regulations for the Passover: "No foreigner is to eat of it. 44 Any slave you have bought may eat of it after you have circumcised him, 45 but a temporary resident and a hired worker may not eat of it. 46 "It must be eaten inside one house; take none of the meat outside the house. Do not break any of the bones. 47 The whole community of Israel must celebrate it.
48 "An alien living among you who wants to celebrate Yahweh's Passover must have all the males in his household circumcised; then he may take part like one born in the land. No uncircumcised male may eat of it. 49 The same law applies to the native-born and to the alien living among you." 50 All the Israelites did just what Yahweh had commanded Moses and Aaron. 51 And on that very day Yahweh brought the Israelites out of Egypt by their divisions.
Having read the Old Testament account of Passover, gives us a much clearer sense of just how important the New Covenant Passover really is. This Solemn Occasion mentioned in the gospels and established by the Power and authority granted to Yahshua by his Father, is the catalyst by which all humanity has been afforded mercy, compassion, love and everlasting life. Every Human on earth has the potential to attain this gift, not by works nor by self-boasting, but by the love of Messiah.
In John 14:15 Yahshua said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
And in John 15:10 he said, “If you keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
In Look Chapter 22 our Messiah commands us that we should do the things that he did, in John Chapter 13:3 we are told that Yahshua had been granted the power by which to command us to commemorate this yearly and solemn occasion.
The
Foot Washing
Let us now read the account that we are told about in the book of John Chapter 13.
13:1 It was just before the Passover Feast. Yahshua knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love. 2 The evening meal was being served, and the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariot, son of Simon, to betray Yahshua. 3 Yahshua knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from Elohim and was returning to Elohim; 4 so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. 5 After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples' feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him. 6 He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, "Lord, are you going to wash my feet?" 7 Yahshua replied, "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand." 8 "No," said Peter, "you shall never wash my feet." Yahshua answered, "Unless I wash you, you have no part with me." 9 "Then, Lord," Simon Peter replied, "not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!"
10 Yahshua answered, "A person who has had a bath needs only to wash his feet; his whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you." 11 For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not every one was clean. 12 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. "Do you understand what I have done for you?" he asked them. 13 "You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. 15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16 I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.
Brethren as we now commemorate the foot washing, by washing each other’s feet, please keep in mind that this is much more than just a ritualistic event done once a year. Yahshua gave us this example so that it would the way by which we live every day of our lives.

1 Cor 11:27-32
27 Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Master in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of Yahshua. 28 A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of Yahshua eats and drinks judgment on himself. 30 That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. 31 But if we judged ourselves, we would not come under judgment. 32 When we are judged by Yahweh, we are being disciplined so that we will not be condemned with the world.
Now let us read of this account from the book of Mark Chapter 14:
Mark 14:3-20
3 While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of a man known as Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head.
4 Some of those present were saying indignantly to one another, "Why this waste of perfume? 5 It could have been sold for more than a year's wages and the money given to the poor." And they rebuked her harshly. 6 "Leave her alone," said Yahshua. "Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me. 7 The poor you will always have with you, and you can help them any time you want. But you will not always have me. 8 She did what she could. She poured perfume on my body beforehand to prepare for my burial. 9 I tell you the truth, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her."
10 Then Judas Iscariot, one of the Twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Yahshua to them. 11 They were delighted to hear this and promised to give him money. So he watched for an opportunity to hand him over. 12 On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, when it was customary to sacrifice the Passover lamb, Yahshua' disciples asked him, "Where do you want us to go and make preparations for you to eat the Passover?" 13 So he sent two of his disciples, telling them, "Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him. 14 Say to the owner of the house he enters, 'The Teacher asks: Where is my guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?' 15 He will show you a large upper room, furnished and ready. Make preparations for us there." 16 The disciples left, went into the city and found things just as Yahshua had told them. So they prepared the Passover.
17 When evening came, Yahshua arrived with the Twelve. 18 While they were reclining at the table eating, he said, "I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me-one who is eating with me." 19 They were saddened, and one by one they said to him, "Surely not I?" 20 "It is one of the Twelve," he replied, "one who dips bread into the bowl with me. 21 The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born."
Offer
the brethren a moment of silent prayer so they can contact the Father with their
heart and mind ask for forgiveness in Yahshua’s name.
The Bread:
Mark 14:22
22 While they were eating, Yahshua took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take it; this is my body." In Luke we are told that he added “do this in remembrance of me.”
Ask
someone to please say a blessing and pass the unleavened bread around.________________________________________
The Drink:
Mark 14:23-25
23 Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, and they all drank from it. 24 "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many," The book of Matthew adds, “for the forgiveness of sins” he said to them. 25 "I tell you the truth, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of Elohim."
Ask someone to say a prayer and pass around the fruit of the vine….advise them that there is grape juice and wine.
Now
ask Yahweh to bless the whole body in prayer!
